I built this the way I build most things — independently, hands-on, and from a real frustration rather than a business plan. RouteAhead started on a bad morning commute, but it became something bigger once I started solving the actual problem: how do you tell a driver the truth about their route before they leave, without crying wolf over every distant fender-bender? I designed the system that answers that — the route-specific classification, the honesty about what it does and doesn't know, the detour logic that won't claim a route is faster when it isn't. I'm a Problem-Solver, Social worker, Driver, and someone who'd rather build the thing right than ship something that lies to you.
